EADV Goes Green... do you?

EADV is committed to reducing the impact of its events on environment.

Until today, tons of paper has been used to print materials and brochures for our congresses. Most of which are thrown away during or after the congress. At an average, the equivalent to about 1250 trees have to be cut to produce the printed materials for a congress.

The goal of EADV is having a total eco-friendly congress, without printed materials; to achieve this goal EADV is setting up different tools for this purpose.

For this reason the 23rd EADV congress in Amsterdam will focus on reducing waste in printed materials by using digital and electronic tools for attendees and exhibitors.

EADV e-Congress Tools

With the EADV e- Congress tools, participants will be able to follow the entire congress without using a single printed material.

Here are some examples:

  • Do you want information about sessions? You can collect session abstract and information at the EADV programme wall by “poking the tags”.
  • Do you want to see the entire scientific programme? You can see the scientific programme live by using the “Mobile app”.
  • Do you want to have a copy of the final programme, but you don’t want to carry around a printed copy because it’s too heavy? You can access to the online version available under “online resources”.
